Forgive me Husi for I have sinned.  It's been a month since my last diary.

In that time, I've come out of hibernation, been to two nerd conventions and an anorak exhibition, acquired some new toys, and started pondering my employment.

I'm still hibernating in front of the telly.  I have an electric heater to help.

It looks like the new season is upon us, so we're slowly getting some of the shows that started in the US last year.

Also decided I really should watch some classic films.  Film Four and TCM show quite a few of these.  This is really screwing up my DVD schedule.

in a few weeks I might actually have some sort of enthisiasm to get up in the morning.

For now, I think I'm hibernating.  Except rather than nuts I have DVDs of old TV shows.  So all I have to talk about is nerdy retro TV stuff.

The current crop of cartoons has a few gems.  Teen Titans, Megas XLR are both great anyway, and I kinda liked X-Men evolution.  Certainly a lot better than those I remember from the mid 90's.  But I remember really enjoying what we had in the 80's.  This may just be that I was a lot less critical.

So how well do they stack up?  Let's see.

Gamepolitics tells us that the Parents Television Council Says Xbox Sponsors “Cultural Sewage”.

Apparently they consider Family Guy, the OC, Nip/Tuck, CSI and The War at Home to be "sewage".
