Leave my fucking wing mirror alone!

Bastard drivers. Came back to my car. Mirror was totally smashed.

Seriously, how hard is it to drive on the bit of road that doesn't have a bit of my car there?

And whoever did it must have really clobbered the thing. The glass was smashed, the plastic surround was broken and the whole mirror was just hanging off.

Those bits of plastic are damn expensive.
Although mine mets it end at the hands of a 40kmh wheel-bin. (Towed by kids out of the window of their car. Get as fast as you can before it shakes itself off it's little wheels - then let go ! Great fun for all concerned.
I no longer live there.)

I had my car written off by a hit and run. Came out one morning and the entire front wing was smashed, including the entire linkage to the front wheel.

To this day, I have no idea how the hell someone could have smashed my car so badly and driven off - surely their own car must've been totalled as well...

You'd be surprised.
Different cars and different parts have different levels of robustness. I was shunted by an Escort van or something when I was in a modern Golf. The Golf's back was pushed in by a couple of inches and the number plate fell off. The Escort had a broken bumper, and a buckled wheel arch (and a smashed headlight but that's hardly surprising).
It upsets me though. I once grazed a neighbour. She probably wouldn't even have noticed if I hadn't left a note.

Friend's car parked up on the street suddenly had a dented bumper. Funny thing is it's an old Saab SLR, built like a tank, so the other driver definitely came off worse.

Next day someone had been back and smashed the headlights with a hammer. What a cunt.
